With summer ending, the staff at Frothingham Park wanted to focus this week’s article on all the wonderful happenings at the park this summer.
After a historical treacherous winter, and a delay in all games and activities, Easton experienced one of the best summers, with dry weather and lots of sunshine.
OA VARSITY
We start by reflecting on the varsity OA games at the park. After a delay in the opening of the fields, the OA players after waiting impatiently got to make it to the field to swing their bats. Shoveltown baseball games followed and continued through the beginning of the summer.
OA GRADUATION
The weather at the OA graduation on June 7 proved sunny for the graduates and parents. Congrats to the class of 2015!
KIDS PLAY ON NEW EQUIPMENT
For the younger ones, the YMCA held their flag football activities. while the little ones got to enjoy the new park equipment that was installed in late fall 2014.
FROTHINGHAM PARK OPEN
The Frothingham open was off to a great start at the Easton Country Club on Friday, July 31. A hundred golfers played in this fundraiser tournament.
FOX 25 NEWS AT FROTHINGHAM PARK
Fox 25 news anchors were at Frothingham Park interviewing the town and community about Easton schools carrying the drug Narcan to reverse the effects of Heroine on addicts.
